The 1RM Nickel Calibrated Steel Weight Plates are supplied in pairs and available in weights from 0.25kg through to 25kg. Designed for powerlifting and strength training where accurate, consistent loading is important, the range provides options for everything from small incremental increases through to heavier barbell and plate-loaded training.
Unlike conventional painted or chrome calibrated plates, these plates use a sandblasted nickel finish with debossed logo and weight markings. The result is a distinctive raw-metal appearance while retaining the thin dimensions and ±10g accuracy expected from calibrated powerlifting plates.
Features
Each plate is manufactured from C45 carbon steel, providing greater tensile strength and making the material well suited to calibrated plates where strength and dimensional stability are important.
Every plate is machine calibrated to within ±10g of its stated weight, providing accurate and consistent loading across the full 0.25kg to 25kg range.
A sandblasted nickel finish provides a durable protective surface over the C45 steel, helping resist corrosion and wear through regular handling and training. The sandblasted surface also gives the plates a low-sheen, textured finish that helps disguise fingerprints, marks and signs of regular use compared with a polished metal surface.
The 1RM logo and weight markings are debossed into the face of each plate rather than relying on surface-printed graphics. This creates permanent identification that forms part of the plate itself and cannot wear away in the same way as printed markings.
Plate dimensions vary by weight, from the compact 112mm diameter 0.25kg plate through to the 450mm diameter 20kg and 25kg plates. Plate widths range from 4.5mm to 22mm, allowing multiple plates to be loaded together on compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves.
The 50.5mm centre opening is designed to fit compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves, including Olympic Bars and Plate Loaded Machines. The plates use weight-specific identification, including IWF red, white, green, yellow and blue colours across the applicable weight increments, and are manufactured to IPF-compliant specifications.
