Why invest in quality gloves and belts?

Training gloves can reduce callus build-up, improve grip comfort and reduce friction and wear on your hands during pulling, pressing and hanging movements. This is particularly useful during high-rep training or when working with aggressive barbell knurling.

Lifting belts give you a firm surface to brace against during heavier lifts such as squats and deadlifts. Different belt widths, thicknesses and fastening systems suit different training styles, levels of support and personal preferences.

Our range includes everything from basic training gloves through to 10mm powerlifting and lever belts, as well as padded dip belts and specialist support options. Whether you're equipping a home gym with the basics or stocking a commercial facility, there's an option for every training style.

    Perfect For:

    • Reducing hand wear during high-rep and heavy-grip training

    • Providing additional bracing support during heavier squats, deadlifts and presses

    • Adding resistance to dips and chin-ups with a dip belt

    • Home gyms, PT studios and strength training facilities

    • Choosing between different belt styles for general strength training, powerlifting and weighted bodyweight work

    Gloves and belts FAQs

Belt width, thickness and shape vary depending on the type of training and the fit you prefer. Foam-core and padded leather belts are available in different widths for general strength training, while our 10mm powerlifting and lever belts use a consistent 4-inch width suited to heavier powerlifting-style training. The right option depends on your body shape, exercises and personal preference. Our team can help you choose the right belt for your training.

Both serve different purposes. Gloves protect your hands from calluses and provide padded comfort. Chalk improves direct grip on the bar without adding a layer between your hand and the knurling. Many lifters use one or the other depending on the exercise and personal preference.

A lever belt uses a metal lever mechanism instead of a prong buckle. This allows faster and more consistent tightening and release between sets. Lever belts are popular in powerlifting training where belt tightness needs to be exact and consistent.

A dip belt has a chain that loops through weight plates, adding external load to bodyweight movements like dips and chin-ups. It's a practical way to add resistance to bodyweight exercises without holding a dumbbell between your feet.

Lifting belts are not required for all training. They're most commonly used during heavier compound lifts where additional bracing support is useful. Whether a belt suits your training depends on the exercises you perform, the loads you're working with and personal preference.
