Wall Mounted Gym Rigs

16 products

Wall mounted gym rigs give you the versatility of the 1RM rig system while using a structural wall as part of the setup. This allows the rig to sit closer to the wall and use less floor depth, making wall mounted rigs particularly useful in home gyms, PT studios and commercial facilities where space needs to be used efficiently.

They can be configured with J-hooks and spotter arms for barbell training, along with chin-up bars and attachments for dips, hip thrusts, utility work, storage and other exercises.

Our range covers compact single-station rigs through to multi-station systems where you can have any many stations as your space allows. Options include standard chin-up bars, multi-grip chin-up bars, high and low bar options, bridge crossmembers, and wall-mounted Smith Machine  and cable machine options. All wall-mounted rigs in the range are from the 1RM range.

Since 2009, Little Bloke Fitness has supplied Australian home gym owners, PT studios and commercial facilities with wall-mounted rigs built for long-term use. Our range is available to view in our Melbourne showroom and ships Australia wide.

    Why choose a wall-mounted rig?

A wall mounted rig uses a structural wall as part of the setup, allowing the rig to sit closer to the perimeter of the room and use less floor depth than a comparable freestanding system. This can make it a practical choice where space is limited or where you want to keep more of the training floor open.

Depending on the configuration and attachments, a wall mounted rig can support pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, barbell squatting and pressing, ring work, hip thrusts, flies and a wide range of accessory exercises. The modular 1RM system also allows accessories, storage and additional rig sections to be added as your training needs change.

    Perfect For:

    • Home gyms and garages where floor space behind the rig is limited

    • Pull-ups, chin-ups, muscle-ups and bodyweight training

    • Barbell squatting and pressing with bolt-on J-hooks and spotter arms

    • PT studios and commercial facilities where wall-mounting is preferred

    • Expanding over time with additional bays and bolt-on accessories

    • Installations where a suitable structural wall is available

    Wall-mounted rig FAQs

Wall-mounted rigs need to be fixed to a suitable load-bearing surface, such as timber framing, masonry or concrete. The fixings required will depend on the product, the weight being stored and the surface you are mounting it to.

If you're unsure whether your wall is suitable or which fixings to use, we recommend speaking with a builder or suitably qualified professional before installation.

That depends on the rig height and the exercises you plan to perform. The 1RM rig system is available with 2235mm, 2510mm, 2750mm and 3660mm uprights off the shelf, with custom heights also available.

You’ll need enough wall height to accommodate the rig itself, plus additional clearance above it for pull-ups, muscle-ups, rope work and other overhead movements where required. Check the dimensions of the rig you’re considering or contact our team and we can help you choose a configuration that suits your available wall and ceiling height.

Yes. Wall-mounted rigs are compatible with the full range of 1RM bolt-on accessories including J-hooks, spotter arms, dip bars and plate storage.

Compact rigs have a shallower depth from the wall, making them suitable for spaces with limited room in front of the rig. Standard rigs extend further from the wall and provide more internal training space.

Yes. Additional bays, crossmembers and accessories can be added to extend your rig along the wall. Additionally, if you’re looking to update your space, a wall-mounted rig can be removed and updated to a freestanding rig (noting additional components may be required). Our team can help you plan an initial setup that allows for future expansion.
