PRO Olympic Trap / Hex Bar (1948mm - Black / Silver - Hard Chrome Sleeves)

The 360 Strength PRO Olympic Trap / Hex Bar is a specialty bar designed for deadlifts, carries, shrugs and general strength training. Its enclosed hexagonal frame positions the lifter between the weight plates, with neutral-grip handles at each side for a centred lifting position.

At 1948mm long, the bar offers a compact footprint while still providing 400mm of loadable sleeve space on each side. Dual-height handles allow the starting position to be changed simply by turning the bar over.

Features

The hexagonal frame allows the lifter to stand inside the bar with the weight positioned to either side of the body. This provides a neutral hand position and allows a more upright pulling position during trap bar deadlifts, while also leaving clear space in front of and behind the lifter.

Dual-height handles provide two starting positions. The lower handles allow the bar to be lifted from its standard height, while the raised handles reduce the distance required to reach the bar from the floor. Turning the bar over allows the preferred handle height to be selected for the exercise or training application.

The handles are 32mm in diameter with 600mm of internal space between them, providing room for the lifter to stand naturally inside the frame. Light coarse knurled grip surfaces provide additional purchase through deadlifts, carries and other loaded movements.

The frame is finished in black powdercoat, while the sleeves use a silver hard chrome finish. The hard chrome sleeves provide a durable plated surface with resistance to wear and corrosion through repeated loading and unloading.

The 400mm loadable sleeves provide substantial space for weight plates and accept all 50mm Olympic weight plates. Rated to 450kg, the bar provides ample loading capacity for deadlifts and other heavy strength exercises.

Double circlip ends secure the sleeve assembly without relying on end bolts that can gradually loosen during use. At 22kg, the bar also provides a substantial starting weight before plates are added.

The PRO Olympic Trap / Hex Bar can be used for a range of lower body, pulling and loaded carry exercises. The centred lifting position and dual-height handles provide multiple setup options within the same bar.
