360 Strength PRO Trap / Hex bar 1948mm - Open

The 360 Strength PRO Open Trap / Hex Bar is a specialty bar designed for deadlifts, carries, shrugs and general strength training. Its open frame positions the lifter between the weight plates while allowing easy entry and exit from the rear of the bar.

The open design also incorporates built-in feet that raise the sleeves from the floor when the bar is tilted upright, making it easier to load and unload weight plates without using a separate barbell jack. Dual-height handles allow the starting position to be changed simply by turning the bar over.

Features

The frame positions the lifter between the weight plates while its open rear provides additional clearance for walking movements and allows the lifter to step directly in and out of the bar.

Built-in feet allow the bar to be tilted onto its side so the weight plates are raised from the floor during loading and unloading. This effectively provides an integrated barbell jack and makes plate changes easier, particularly once the bar is heavily loaded.

Dual-height handles provide two different starting positions. The lower handles provide a greater range of motion, while the raised handles reduce the distance required to reach the bar from the floor. Turning the bar over allows the preferred handle height to be selected for the exercise or training application.

The handles are 32mm in diameter with 600mm of internal space between them, providing room for the lifter to stand naturally inside the frame while maintaining a neutral hand position.

The frame is finished in black powdercoat, while the sleeves and loading feet use a silver hard chrome finish. Hard chrome provides a durable plated surface with resistance to wear and corrosion through repeated loading, unloading and contact with the floor.

The 400mm loadable sleeves provide substantial space for weight plates and accept all 50mm Olympic weight plates. Rated to 450kg, the bar provides ample loading capacity for deadlifts, carries and other loaded strength exercises.

Double circlip ends secure the sleeve assembly without relying on end bolts that can gradually loosen during use. At 22kg, the bar provides a substantial starting weight before plates are added.
