Pin loaded cable machines use an integrated weight stack and selector pin system to provide fast, simple resistance adjustment between sets. The built-in weight stack and selector pin system makes them a practical cable machine option for commercial gyms, personal training studios, and home gym setups where training efficiency matters.

Since 2009, Little Bloke Fitness has supplied Australian gyms with cable machines and pin loaded training equipment built for daily use. Our range covers rack-mounted and wall-mounted cable units, standalone lat pulldown and low row machines, cable crossovers, single-function pin loaded isolation machines, and multi-station commercial cable systems.

Why choose a pin loaded cable machine?

Pin loaded cable machines are built for training efficiency. Adjusting resistance is as simple as moving a selector pin - practical for drop sets, supersets, and high-volume training where you don't want to stop to load and unload plates between sets. The cable pulley system also provides consistent resistance throughout the movement, making cable machines particularly useful for isolation work, cable-based strength training and movements performed from multiple angles.

From single-function machines targeting one movement pattern, to cable crossovers working from multiple cable angles, to full functional trainer racks with adjustable cable height, pin loaded cable equipment covers a wide range of training applications.

Our range includes everything from compact rack-mounted cable systems and lat pulldowns through to cable crossovers, selectorised strength machines and multi-station commercial systems. Whether you're fitting out a home gym, PT studio or commercial facility, there's a configuration to suit your space and training requirements.

    Perfect for:

    • Lat pulldowns, seated rows, and upper back development

    • Cable flies, crossovers, and chest cable work

    • Isolation movements - curls, tricep pushdowns, face pulls, and cable core work

    • Leg-focused pin loaded machines - leg extension, leg curl, leg press, adductor/abductor

    • Commercial gyms and PT studios where multiple users need quick weight changes between sets

    Cable machine FAQs

Pin loaded machines use an integrated weight stack - you select resistance by inserting a pin through numbered plates in the stack. Plate loaded cable machines use weight plates loaded externally onto a peg to build resistance. Each type has practical advantages - our team can talk you through which configuration suits your setup and training requirements.

Many cable machines provide one or two cable points in a fixed or limited-height position, designed for specific movements like lat pulldowns, rows, or curls. A cable crossover positions two cable columns facing each other, allowing bilateral cable fly movements, crossovers, and a wider range of cable angles from a single structure.

Our range includes rack-mounted configurations designed to attach to compatible racks. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific rack before purchasing.

Weight stack requirements depend on the exercises you're performing and the strength levels of the people using the machine. Our range includes different stack sizes across models - contact our team to discuss what suits your training setup.
