PRO Olympic Safety Squat Bar (Black/Silver - Hard Chrome Sleeves - Bearings)

The 360 Strength PRO Olympic Safety Squat Bar is a specialty bar designed for squat training and lower body strength work. Measuring 2200mm in overall length with a 1360mm shaft, it is designed for use with squat racks and power racks across commercial and home training environments.

The cambered shaft, padded shoulder section and forward-facing handles change how the bar is supported compared with a traditional straight bar squat. This allows the lifter to maintain control of the bar from the front while the load remains positioned across the upper back and shoulders.

Features

The bar includes three interchangeable handle options to suit different training preferences. The standard short handles provide a direct grip close to the body, the chain handles allow greater freedom of hand position, and the long spider handles provide an extended grip for additional control.

Each handle uses fine, grippy knurling to provide a secure and comfortable grip during training. The interchangeable design allows the bar to be configured around the lifter's preferred hand position and level of control.

A single-piece foam pad sits across the shoulders and upper back, with a single-piece vinyl cover helping keep the padding securely positioned around the centre section of the bar. This provides a broader contact area across the shoulders during squats and other loaded lower body movements.

The bar uses a black powder-coated shaft with silver hard chrome sleeves. The hard chrome sleeves provide a durable plated surface with resistance to wear and corrosion through repeated loading and unloading.

The sleeves rotate on bearings, allowing the weight plates to move independently of the shaft as the bar changes position during the lift. This provides smoother sleeve movement and helps reduce unnecessary rotational force through the bar during training.

Double circlip ends secure the sleeve assembly without relying on an end bolt that can gradually loosen during use. The 50mm Olympic sleeves accept all Olympic weight plates, making the bar easy to integrate into an existing free weights setup.
