Product Description
The 360 Strength Buffalo Bent Barbell is a specialty Olympic bar designed primarily for squat training and other barbell strength exercises. Measuring 2200mm in length with a curved 32mm spring steel shaft and 50mm Olympic sleeves, it provides an alternative to a traditional straight bar while remaining fully rackable for use with all LBF squat racks and power racks.
The curved shaft allows the bar to sit differently across the shoulders during squats, providing an alternative for lifters who find a traditional straight bar uncomfortable. Unlike many longer curved bars, the Buffalo Bar is designed at 2200mm so it can be positioned correctly on standard J-hooks without unnecessary lateral movement.
Features
The bar uses a spring steel shaft with a tensile strength of 215,000 PSI, providing excellent resistance to permanent bending under heavy or repeated loading. Rated to 680kg (1,500lb), it is designed for demanding strength training across commercial and home environments.
The 32mm shaft is finished in black hard chrome, while the sleeves use a silver hard chrome finish. Hard chrome provides a durable plated surface with strong resistance to wear and corrosion, helping protect the bar through repeated handling, racking, loading and unloading.
The shaft uses fine, grippy knurling, including a centre knurl through the curved section of the bar. The outer knurl provides a secure grip during barbell exercises, while the centre knurl provides additional contact against the upper back during squats to help keep the bar securely positioned.
Each sleeve rotates on two needle bearings and one brass bush, giving the bar a total of four needle bearings and two brass bushes. The bearings reduce friction as the sleeves rotate, while the brass bushes provide additional support and stability within the sleeve assembly. This allows the weight plates to rotate independently of the shaft as the bar moves through each lift.
The 420mm sleeves accept all 50mm Olympic weight plates, providing generous loading space for strength training. Spring collars are available as the standard collar option, with compatible nylon locking collars also available for faster plate changes.
