Can the Wall Ball be slammed?

The Anti-Slip Wall Ball is designed for throwing and catching exercises and should not be repeatedly slammed into the ground. For repeated high-impact slamming, see our Slam Balls.

What surfaces are suitable for wall ball training?

It should be used against a suitable smooth wall or target surface. Repeated contact with rough surfaces or exposed edges can wear the PVC outer and may cause the seams to split.

Permitted Use:

Wall Balls are designed for traditional wall ball exercises, including repeated throwing and catching against suitable smooth, non-abrasive wall surfaces or dedicated wall ball targets. They can also be used for partner throws, catching exercises and general medicine ball movements. However, they are not designed for repetitive high-impact slamming or bouncing exercises. Damage resulting from normal, intended use against suitable wall surfaces or targets is not automatically excluded from warranty coverage.

Do Not:

Slam or throw the ball onto concrete, asphalt, gravel or other hard, abrasive or uneven surfaces.
Use the ball against rough, abrasive or unsuitable wall surfaces or targets.
Use the ball for high-impact overhead slamming exercises.
Drag the ball across rough or abrasive surfaces.
Strike the ball against sharp objects, equipment or other unsuitable surfaces.
Store or use the ball outdoors or expose it to prolonged direct sunlight or excessive moisture.
Clean the ball with harsh or unsuitable chemicals.
Continue using the ball if the outer shell, stitching or seams show signs of damage.

Warranty Exclusions:

Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, surface scratches, scuffs and deterioration of the outer shell through regular use.
Cuts, punctures, abrasions or seam damage caused by contact with sharp objects or unsuitable training surfaces.
Damage caused by slamming or throwing the ball onto concrete, asphalt, gravel or other hard, abrasive or uneven surfaces.
Damage caused by repeated high-impact slamming or using the ball as a slam ball.
Damage caused by throwing the ball against rough, abrasive or unsuitable wall surfaces or targets.
Damage caused by dragging, misuse, improper storage or inadequate maintenance.
Deterioration caused by prolonged UV exposure, excessive moisture or unsuitable cleaning products.
Damage resulting from unauthorised modification or repair.

The 1RM Anti-Slip Wall Ball is designed for wall ball shots, throws, core work and conditioning where consistent size, balanced weight distribution and secure handling are important. The 12kg ball maintains the same 350mm diameter as the other options in the range, combining a consistent ball size with a different training load for repeated throwing and catching exercises.

Features

The 12kg Anti-Slip Wall Ball measures 350mm in diameter and uses a reinforced PVC leather outer surrounding a balanced internal fill of rubber, iron shot and PP cotton. The internal materials are contained within a nylon net to help maintain the ball's balance and shape, while the soft PVC outer provides a secure gripping surface during throws and catches.

Its 350mm diameter matches the other options in the range, providing a consistent ball size when progressing between different training loads. Clear weight identification makes the 12kg ball easy to distinguish during individual sessions, group training and conditioning circuits.

The construction is not intended to withstand repeated high-impact ground slams.
