The 360 Strength Olympic 15kg Barbell is a versatile multi-purpose Olympic bar designed for Olympic lifting, functional fitness and general strength training. Featuring a 25mm carbon steel shaft, rotating 50mm Olympic sleeves and a 225kg (500lb) load rating, it is suitable for home gyms, PT studios, schools, sporting clubs and light commercial training facilities.

At 15kg, the bar provides a lighter starting weight than a standard 20kg Olympic bar while retaining full rack compatibility and 50mm Olympic sleeves. The 25mm shaft also provides a narrower grip, making it particularly suitable for lifters who prefer a smaller shaft diameter or are developing their lifting technique.

Features

Manufactured from carbon steel, the shaft is designed to withstand repeated loading while providing the strength and resilience required for regular strength training. The 25mm shaft diameter provides a comfortable grip, while the nickel plated finish helps protect the steel from corrosion and everyday wear.

Rated to 225kg (500lb), the bar provides ample capacity for lifting, functional fitness and general strength training while maintaining a lighter 15kg overall weight.

Each sleeve rotates on two needle bearings and one brass bush, providing a total of four needle bearings and two brass bushes across the bar. This combination allows the sleeves to rotate independently of the shaft, helping reduce unnecessary torque through the wrists during dynamic lifts such as cleans and snatches.

The sleeves are secured using a double circlip construction. Unlike bolt-retained sleeve assemblies that can gradually loosen over time, a double circlip design provides a durable, low-maintenance retention system designed for long-term reliability.

The shaft features fine knurling with dual IPF and IWF knurl marks, providing reference points for both powerlifting-style and Olympic weightlifting grip positions. There is no centre knurl, helping reduce unnecessary abrasion during cleans, front squats and other movements where the bar rests across the shoulders.

The supplied spring collars allow the bar to be used immediately, while customers wanting faster weight changes can upgrade to compatible nylon locking collars above.
