Having supplied equipment to a number of similar locations over the years, staff from SESG Corrections Victoria contacted Little Bloke Fitness in regards to fitting out a brand new training facility for staff in Ararat. The area measured approximately 88sqm and was fitted with a commercial rubber flooring as part of the build.
Presented with a completely empty shell Little Bloke Fitness worked with the staff at Corrections Victoria to devise an equipment list that covered all areas of training – strength, conditioning and cardio. The main feature of the gym is the two-cell free standing rig with integrated plate storage. This setup delivers maximum stability in a compact footprint and allows users to complete a full training program on this rig. The rig has been accessorised with multi grip chin bars, j-hooks, spotter arms and a dip horn.
The gym holds a comprehensive range of strength gear including a great range of barbells, bumper plates, a dedicated functional trainer, preacher curl bench, leg press and leg extension / curl machine. Further, a range of Slam Balls, Rubber Hex Dumbbells, Kettlebells, and Power Bags are stored down one side of the gym and this, along with various cardio machines, provides users with a wide range of options whilst training.
