The 360 Strength 15kg Crumb Bumper Plates are supplied as a pair and designed for home gyms and low-traffic light commercial training environments. Manufactured from recycled crumb rubber, each plate weighs 15kg with a 450mm outside diameter.
Features
Each plate is manufactured from recycled crumb rubber fused under heat to create a durable bumper plate. With a rubber hardness of 85 Shore A, the crumb rubber construction provides a resilient impact surface suited to regular barbell training when used on appropriate gym flooring or a lifting platform.
Each 15kg plate measures 450mm in diameter and 50mm wide. The 450mm diameter maintains a consistent barbell starting height for exercises performed from the floor, while the 50mm width provides a relatively slim plate profile.
A stainless steel centre insert provides the contact surface between the plate and sleeve, while the 50.5mm centre opening is designed to fit 50mm Olympic sleeves, allowing the plates to be used with compatible Olympic barbells and plate-loaded strength equipment.
Yellow rubber flecks and embossed kilogram markings identify the 15kg weight at a glance. The coloured flecks follow the conventional weightlifting colour used for 15kg plates.
When the bar is being lowered or dropped, the plates should be used on suitable impact-absorbing rubber gym flooring or an Olympic lifting platform.
As with crumb rubber plates generally, minor surface or cosmetic variations can occur as part of the manufacturing process and do not affect the intended performance of the plate.
