The Western Jets are an Australian rules football club based in the Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. The Western Jets play in the Victorian premier U19 competition, the Talent League, since its inception in 1992.
The team at Western Jets first reached out to LBF in 2021 for a quote on setting up a permanent training space for their athletes. However, with building works being delayed the first step in the process switched to LBF suppling a range of strength and conditioning equipment that the trainers and athletes could incorporate into their outdoor training.
With the upgrade to W.L.J Crofts Reserve in Altona North completed in June 2023, the team at Western Jets were keen to proceed with the full gym fit out – starting with gym flooring and dumbbells and later adding in a squat rack, benches and some spin bikes. The combination of the new equipment, along with the equipment that was previously being used outside has resulted in an inviting (and warm space) for the Western Jets athletes to now train in.
