The 360 Strength Standard Trap / Hex Bar is designed for deadlifts, shrugs and other strength exercises using compatible standard weight plates. Featuring a 300kg load rating, dual-height neutral grip handles and long 400mm sleeves, it provides a versatile alternative to a traditional straight barbell for commercial gyms, home gyms and various other training environments.
The hexagonal frame positions the lifter inside the bar with the load distributed to either side of the body. This allows the weight to remain more centred during deadlifts and can encourage a more upright lifting position, making the trap bar particularly useful for lifters who prefer a neutral grip or want an alternative to conventional straight-bar deadlifts.
Features
The hexagonal frame is welded from 1.5-inch square steel tubing and finished in a black powdercoat to help protect the steel surface from everyday wear. At 1948mm long and weighing 20kg, the bar provides a substantial platform for lower body strength training while retaining compatibility with standard weight plates.
Dual-height neutral grip handles provide two starting positions for deadlifts and other pulling exercises. The raised handles reduce the distance required to reach the bar, while the lower handles allow a greater range of motion. Each handle measures 32mm in diameter, providing a substantial gripping surface during loaded exercises.
Each side provides 400mm of loadable sleeve length, giving the bar plenty of room for compatible 360 Strength Standard Weight Plates. The 28mm steel sleeves use a silver hard chrome finish to provide a durable surface where weight plates and collars are regularly fitted and removed.
Rated to 300kg, the Standard Trap / Hex Bar provides substantial loading capacity for deadlifts, shrugs, carries and other strength exercises within its intended training environments.
The supplied spring collars secure the weight plates during training and allow the bar to be used immediately, while customers wanting faster weight changes can upgrade to compatible standard locking collars.
