Period: 3 years from the original date of purchase.

Do Not:

  • Drop plates that are not designed to be dropped.
  • Use bumper or technique plates on concrete, gravel or other rigid, abrasive or uneven surfaces.
  • Use bumper or technique plates without a suitable impact-absorbing surface, such as rubber gym flooring or an Olympic lifting platform.
  • Use the plates with damaged or incorrectly fitting barbells or equipment.
  • Store or use the plates outdoors or expose them to excessive moisture.
  • Clean the plates with harsh or unsuitable chemicals.
  • Modify the plates in any way.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, surface scratches, scuffs, chips, fading and discolouration.
  • Normal wear or deterioration of rubber, paint, powder-coat or other surface finishes.
  • Surface rust or corrosion resulting from moisture, sweat, improper storage or inadequate maintenance.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, impact, improper dropping or improper storage.
  • Damage resulting from use on an unsuitable training surface.
  • Damage resulting from inadequate maintenance.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorised modification or repair.
  • Damage or deterioration resulting from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, UV or unsuitable environmental conditions.

Will these plates fit my equipment?

These plates have a 50.5mm centre opening and are designed to fit compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves, including Olympic Bars and Plate Loaded Machines. They are not designed for standard 25–30mm sleeves.

Are these suitable for commercial gyms?

The Calibrated Steel Weight Plates are suitable for everything from powerlifting and commercial gyms to strength and conditioning facilities, personal training studios and home gyms. Their C45 steel construction, hard chrome finish and ±10g calibration make them well suited to regular strength training where accurate loading is important.

Product Description

The 1RM Calibrated Steel Weight Plates are supplied in pairs and available in weights from 0.25kg through to 25kg. Designed for powerlifting and strength training where accurate, consistent loading is important, the range provides options for everything from small incremental increases through to heavier barbell and plate-loaded training.

With nine weight options available, the range allows training loads to be adjusted in smaller increments than conventional weight plates alone, while the heavier 10kg, 15kg, 20kg and 25kg plates provide the primary loading required for heavier strength work.

Features

Each plate is manufactured from C45 carbon steel, providing greater tensile strength and making the material well suited to calibrated plates where strength and dimensional stability are important.

Every plate is machine calibrated to within ±10g of its stated weight, providing accurate and consistent loading across the full 0.25kg to 25kg range.

A hard chrome finish provides a durable protective surface over the C45 steel, helping resist wear and corrosion through regular handling and training. This makes the plates well suited to repeated loading and unloading in powerlifting gyms, commercial facilities and other high-use training environments.

Plate dimensions vary by weight, from the compact 112mm diameter 0.25kg plate through to the 450mm diameter 20kg and 25kg plates. Plate widths range from 4.5mm to 22mm, allowing multiple plates to be loaded together on compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves.

The 50.5mm centre opening is designed to fit compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves, including Olympic Bars and Plate Loaded Machines. The plates use weight-specific identification, including IWF red, white, green, yellow and blue colours across the applicable weight increments, and are manufactured to IPF-compliant specifications.
