Synthetic turf provides a dedicated surface for sled pushes, prowler work, sprint training and general conditioning. Built from commercial-grade artificial turf with reinforced backing, sled track turf handles dragging and high-friction activities while maintaining performance through daily use.
Unlike standard flooring, sled track turf is built to handle repeated pushing, pulling and foot traffic in functional training areas. It’s commonly used to create sled lanes, sprint tracks and defined conditioning zones within a gym.
Little Bloke Fitness has been supplying strength and conditioning equipment to Australian gyms since 2009. Our sled track and gym turf options are suited to both home gyms and commercial facilities, providing durable, consistent surfaces for sled work and high-intensity training.

Synthetic Turf creates a purpose-built training surface that mimics outdoor conditions while protecting facility floors. The artificial turf construction provides consistent resistance for sled work, reliable traction for sprint training, and durability that rubber flooring cannot match for dragging and loaded equipment movement.
Ideal for:
Gym sled track installation for smooth, consistent sled and prowler resistance
Sprint training and acceleration work without weather dependence
Agility drills, ladder work and change-of-direction training
Loaded carries, farmer's walks and dynamic conditioning movements
Defining and separating workout areas throughout your facility
Multi-purpose training zones for resistance training and indoor field sport
High-traffic training areas requiring appearance retention and performance
Our sled track turf features UV-resistant construction, reinforced backing designed for elite-level durability, and no-infill design for low maintenance and consistent performance. Standard sled track installations measure 2–4m wide and 10–20m long, though dimensions can be customised to suit your training space.
Our commercial-grade sled track turf is built for demanding training environments:
UV-resistant construction for indoor and outdoor use
Reinforced backing that withstands sled work, resistance training and high-impact activities
Custom pile construction for natural glide and grip
Drainage systems for water runoff
No sand or rubber infill required
Built for high-traffic commercial environments
Available in various configurations for dedicated sled lanes or multi-purpose training areas
Available in custom colours and designs
Commercial warranties for daily use
Whether you need a dedicated sled pushing lane or a versatile training surface that handles everything from prowler work to field sports, our turf options provide the durability and performance serious training requires.

Medicine Balls – for throwing and dynamic movements
Can I use turf for sled training?
Yes. Our synthetic Gym Turf is specifically designed for sled and prowler training, providing consistent resistance and protecting both the equipment and the floor beneath.
How long does sled track turf last?
Lifespan depends on usage. In commercial gyms with heavy traffic, turf will wear faster than in a home gym. With normal use and basic maintenance, turf can last for many years.
Can turf be installed outdoors?
Yes. Our sled track turf is UV-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. It should be installed on a flat, stable surface to prevent uneven wear.
What's the difference between gym turf and sports field turf?
Gym sled track turf uses reinforced backing, higher-density yarn and custom weaving patterns designed for sled glide and high-impact use. Sports field turf is optimised for ball sports and foot traffic but won't handle heavy sleds or dragging as well.
Do I need to glue turf down?
We recommend gluing turf down for sled track installations. Loose-laid turf can move or lift when pushing heavy sleds, especially in high-use areas. Adhesive installation ensures a more stable and reliable surface.
