The 360 Strength 10kg Calibrated Competition Bumper Plates are supplied as a pair and designed for competition lifting and strength training with compatible 50mm Olympic barbells. Each plate weighs 10kg and uses a full-size 450mm diameter to maintain a consistent bar position for exercises performed from the floor.
Manufactured from virgin rubber with a chrome-plated steel disc insert, the plates combine a slim 36mm profile with a ±10g weight tolerance for precise and consistent barbell loading.
Features
Each plate is manufactured from virgin rubber with a chrome-plated steel disc insert. The rubber has a 90 Shore A hardness, producing minimal bounce when the bar is dropped and helping it settle quickly between repetitions. The steel disc insert helps distribute impact through the centre of the plate during repeated drops.
The plates are calibrated to within ±10g of their stated 10kg weight. This tighter tolerance provides more consistent loading for competition lifting and other training where accurate bar weight is important.
Each plate measures 450mm in diameter and 36mm wide. The full-size diameter maintains the same barbell starting height used by heavier bumper plates while the relatively narrow profile limits the amount of sleeve space occupied by each plate.
The centre assembly uses a chrome-plated steel disc insert with a 50.4mm centre opening. The steel insert provides structural support through the centre of the plate, while the 50.4mm opening is designed for compatible 50mm Olympic sleeves.
The 10kg plate uses the traditional green competition colour with a matte finish and bold white lettering for clear weight identification. A raised lip around the circumference helps reduce scuffing of the lettering and plate face.
The plates use a low-odour rubber compound and should be used on suitable impact-absorbing rubber gym flooring or a lifting platform when the bar is being lowered or dropped.
