Paula Bryant

CO-FOUNDER

Paula has always been passionate about health and fitness, and this was a true driving force behind the desire to set up leading gym equipment provider, Little Bloke Fitness. After graduating with a Diploma of Applied Science in Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, she served as a Student Services Officer at Federation University before moving into the corporate world at Calvin Klein Jeans. After four years as their logistics manager, she returned to the world of clinical psychology.

Balancing part-time work with raising a young family, Paula’s entrepreneurial spark ignited when she and husband Graeme decided to create a business that combined their corporate skills with their love for fitness. Leaving behind traditional employment, Paula's logistical talents, work ethic and commitment to exemplary customer service into Little Bloke Fitness, growing it from from a small back yard operation into a nationwide success.

As Managing Director of the company, she works in every area of the business, with an emphasis on:

  • Financial Management
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Retail Store Operations
  • Sales and Marketing, including collating the feedback on the company’s gym equipment and gym fitouts – something that’s pivotal to the ongoing evolution of the brand.

Paula also regularly attends trade shows in Australasia, Asia and Europe. This is something she particularly enjoys, as she gets to meet fellow lifting and fitness afficionados and demonstrate the Little Bloke Fitness range of gym equipment, machines, dumbbells, rigs, racks, kettlebells and more.

Paula has always had a strong interest in fitness, exercise and health – both from a physical and psychological aspect. While the decision to set up Little Bloke Fitness was a strategic one, she never imagined that it would bloom from a side hustle into a fully-fledged, nationwide affair with a tailor-designed and bespoke range of OEM equipment, marketed under the brands of 1RM and 360 Strength.

Called upon to utilise all of her considerable talents, on any given day Paula might be found in the office, the showroom, on the forklift in the warehouse, designing a client’s perfect gym fitout, at a photo shoot or crunching the financial numbers.

When not working, she enjoys lifting weights and, of course, spending quality time with the family and friends.
