Digital Content Creator (Video & Photo)

LBF is a family-owned business that has grown over the past 15 years to become one of Australia’s largest strength and conditioning equipment importers and retailers, selling through our e-commerce  store and our showroom in Reservoir. The role:

We are seeking a proactive and savvy Digital Content Creator/Videographer to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week). In this role, you will lead content creation for our online and digital platforms.

You will be responsible for executing all areas of content creation and management. This includes Photography, Video, post-production editing, and asset management. You will direct all things creative, executing an effective content strategy while overseeing the physical and digital aspects of all outward-facing content and marketing assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and produce engaging content for digital and social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok, and EDMs (including repurposing media suitable for Facebook Ads) with a focus on video content
  • Photograph and edit product stock for our e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to execute the content strategy
  • Plan and run content shoots working with the team on idea generation, mood boards, shot lists and planning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a creative thinker, self-driven, highly motivated, and confident in your creative abilities.
  • Have excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Possess acute attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Exhibit professional communication skills to represent our brand in day-to-day communications both internally and externally.
  • Be experienced in photography/video and highly competent in content creation.
  • Be capable of shooting and directing models & athletes.
  • Have experience with a range of computers and software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.
  • Have a strong understanding of social media trends and how to leverage them for brand growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a broad scope of creative aspects.
  • Knowledge of gyms and gym equipment is advantageous but not essential.

This role is a part-time, contract position based in Reservoir in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. The contract is initially for 3-6 months, with the potential to extend the contract or increase hours as the role progresses.
