Western Port Secondary College, located in Hastings, Victoria, approached Little Bloke Fitness in 2021 in regards to creating a new gym space for their students. With student wellbeing a key priority, the staff at WPSC were looking to convert an old, unused automotive shed into a custom training space where they could safely and effectively train their students.
The space measured approximately 130 sqm which allowed room for two squat rack stations, a double sled track and significant space for a free weights / teaching area.
Testimonial
One of my colleagues was aware of a gym fit out that had been completed at another college through Little Bloke Fitness and was very impressed with the finished product, suggesting Little Bloke Fitness complete the new fit out at WPSC. Our aim was to promote a functional fitness space that trains our students to develop strength and conditioning for everyday tasks and activities regardless of their fitness level, body composition or athletic ability.
Dimensions of the space, a rough equipment list and floor plan was passed through to Paula at LBF and she did the rest. The process was kept simple with a series of online and phone consults and when it came time to coordinate delivery & installation, the LBF team looked after the entire process. Western Port S.C would like to thank LBF for the amazing space that has been provided to our community. We are all appreciative of the professionalism shown throughout both the planning and installation processes. Our staff and students are blown away by our new facility and we cannot wait to enrich and update our Physical Education curriculum through the use of the new functional gym space.
