Bodyweight exercises are strength training exercises that use the lifters bodyweight to provide the resistance for the exercise, rather than free weights. These exercises include push-ups, chin-ups and sit-ups. While no free weight are required, these movements can require, or be enhanced through the use of particular equipment.
