Little Bloke Fitness carry a wide range of fitness accessories.

Power Bands

A power band, (a strong resistance band training tool) is a large elastic band used for assistance or resistance in strength training, as well as stretching, spine de-loading, group training and outdoor training. With power bands you can do just about any type of strength training exercise — chest presses, rows, shoulder presses, tricep extensions, bicep curls, and even squats — without the need for heavy weights.

They are great for building strength and tone, increasing flexibility, as well as perfect for exercising while travelling. They come in different sizes and colors with deifferent levels of resistance to suit all users

Foam Rollers

Foam rollers are incredibly useful fitness tools that are used to relieve adhesions and improve balance. Muscular adhesions (also known as knots) can cause pain and tightness, resulting in discomfort. These specially designed rollers can be used to apply pressure to the muscles and work out knots. If utilised correctly, the applied of pressure from foam rollers is similar to that of a deep tissue massage.

Massage Balls

Massage balls can be used to help injuries such as back pain or sporting injuries, by encouraging the muscles to relax and ease tension, as well as used for easing muscle soreness and tension. Exercise Balls

Exercise balls are soft elastic feeling balls that range in sizes from 45 to 75 centimetres to accommodate people of varying heights. When a person exercises sitting or lying on an exercise ball the unstable surface of the ball causes a nervous system reaction leading to an increased recruit of muscle to maintain balance. Working out with an exercise ball improves coordination, core strength and balance.

Exercise Mats

An exercise mat can transform almost any space in the home into a place to workout. Exercise mats, ranging from yoga mats to floor mats can be rolled up for storage while others come in pieces and fit together like puzzles and are developed to cushion the body from the stress caused by some high-impact exercise as well protect the body while working out on a hard floor.

Bodyweight exercise equipment

Bodyweight exercises are strength training exercises that use the lifters bodyweight to provide the resistance for the exercise, rather than free weights. These exercises include push-ups, chin-ups and sit-ups. While no free weight are required, these movements can require, or be enhanced through the use of particular equipment.

Weight training gloves

If you’ve ever been to a gym, you’ve probably seen men and women wearing weight lifting gloves. They are worn for a variety of reasons, but generally because they:

  • Increase grip strength. Weight gloves make it easier to hold dumbbells and barbells while performing various exercises.
  • Decrease calluses. Weight gloves prevent hands from becoming callused as a result of dumbbell and barbell exercises. They keep your hands silky smooth. (It is worth noting however that as your lifts get heavier, gloves may not prevent callus formation).

Storage Racks

There are a number of different styles of storage racks for use with gym and fitness equipment. All are designed to get and keep your equipment off the floor, and make your workout space a little safer. The range includes weight plate storage, bar storage, kettlebell storage. They vary from floor based to wall mounted units.
