Digital and Retail Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the LBF team.

The purpose of this newly created role is to contribute to and implement a sound marketing strategy to improve our brands’ marketing activities. This role will be responsible for the management and administration of all of our marketing strategy - you’ll plan, develop, refine, create, implement and analyse.

Working in a small business, the scope of the role will be broad and is suited to someone who is willing to get involved in all aspects of Marketing, Digital and Creative – from strategy and planning, to development, execution, and analysis. 

This role is a permanent, full time position and located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. However, a part-time arrangement could be considered, as could flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities 

Working closely with supportive senior management, the role will:

  • Develop and execute our Marketing Strategy, including post-campaign reporting.
  • Ensure marketing activity is properly planned, delivered, and effectively analysed.
  • Manage Social Media including engagement, influencer activity, collaborations, advertising, strategy, growth, and reporting.
  • Work with an external provider to manage the brands’ SEO and SEM across the Google Analytics platform with strong consideration to brand voice, aesthetic, performance, ROAS and budget.
  • Manage our multiple websites content including regularly updating images, copy, website updates, plugins and improving user experience.
  • Manage the brands email scheduling and databases with a strong understanding of authentic communication in alignment with brand voice, aesthetic and customer needs.
  • Manage content pipeline with a strong sense of brand aesthetic and understanding of its important to the overall to the marketing strategy included development of brand profiles, and portfolios.

Skills & Competencies

      Essential

  • Bachelor level education in Marketing (or related discipline) and/or minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Digital / Marketing environments.
  • Strong copy writing skills both creative and conversation based.
  • A fundamentally creative mindset
  • Proficiency in Mail Chimp (or similar), Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • A passion for health and fitness.

      Desired

  • A history in developing and converting new audiences.
  • Photo and video shoot experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a calm, clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with all of our collaborators.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of self-management and ability to operate autonomously.
